WATCH THEM DIE Begin Recording Sophomore Album

February 23, 2005

The Oakland-based purveyors of pain WATCH THEM DIE recently entered the studio to begin tracking their highly anticipated sophomore release.

Commented vocalist Pat Vigil: "From sparks come flames, and from flames infernos are created. WATCH THEM DIE are currently in Praire Sun recording studios (Cotati, CA) laying down tracks for our new CD, tentatively entitled 'Bastard Son', which is sure to burn the minds and ears of the innocent. This album continues to push the boundaries of thrash metal to brutal extremes, while at the same time exploring the gut wrenching musical depths of anger, pain and redemption.

"Expect a non-stop touring schedule throughout the U.S. and Europe this summer in support of the new album. A trail of death is sure to follow, so welcome to the second chapter of violence! Behold and rise to ride the beast."
